Hi friends, today in this blog, I am going to tell you how can you get a job and then survive it. In other words, how can you keep your job alive, especially in this competitive environment?

So let us start discussing it without wasting any time.

Every person in this world for their survival wants some sort of income. Today, if you have any technical degree, say B-Tech or M-Tech, that is not enough to get a job. A person may be highly technical but that will not help him to get a job. So, what I am just going to tell you is to follow some basic steps so that you can able to get a job.


Before describing the steps I want to remind you that the steps that I will be discussing on this blog are just for informational purposes only. I will only tell in what way a guy can get a job and how to keep the job alive. In order to get vital information, read this blog until the end.

Here are the steps.

Step 1: Study in-depth about a particular profession.

The first step is to decide on which domain a particular person wants to go. For example, if anyone is interested in a profession like “Medical Representative”, Marketing and sales, Information Technology or any other profession, the first thing is to do is to study that profession.

A person who is interested in “Medical representative” profession, then what are the skills and education are required, one must have a clear idea about that profession. Now the question arises that how to do research?

The best way to get an answer is to simply ask Google or YouTube. If anyone is searching with the phrase “how to become a medical representative” or with any other phrase, then lots of search results will show.

I am just explaining my first step with a simple example. The more we study, the more we know. This study is a continuous study that is not like school or university study, where one will pass and others will fail. Here one has to survive in this competitive world. A person has the choice to decide which profession, he or she has to go to, but the main thing is to research very properly about that particular profession.

Step 2: Make your own Bio-Data or CV.

Now a person has decided that he or she will go into that particular profession. So now the important thing a person should know is how to write a CV or Bio Data.

In simple words, a Biodata means information about the candidate. To be more precise a Biodata contains Educational or technical qualifications, contact information which is the most important thing and some personal information.

A Bio-Data or CV is different in the case of an experienced person or in the case of fresher. Now a person who is completely new in the professional world, then obviously his Biodata will differ with that of an experienced person.

In other words, the best thing is to write a CV or Biodata in your own language. Now one can take help from google or watch some videos, that is “How to write a CV”, if anyone searches with this phrase, then lots of information will show up.

So the important thing is to know that a CV should always be written in your own language.

A CV must contain all the necessary contact information like phone number, email id. The phone number is very important so that a recruiter can contact you directly. The Biodata must contain all the necessary or useful information that a recruiter is looking for?

Step 3: Make your own email id and submit your CV to online job sites or purchase newspapers to apply for a job.

The next important step is to create your own e-mail id. This is a very simple thing. One can create an email id with Gmail, yahoo and much more.

After creating an e-mail the next step is to submit your CV to popular job portal sites like Naukri, Monster, Timesjobs, Indeed, etc.

Now what a particular person has to do is simply register with email id and upload the BIO data or CV into that particular job site. From here many companies will call the right candidate. The phone number is a must in a CV.

Step 4: Do homework before going to the interview.

After uploading a CV, suppose a person has got a certain call from a multinational company, the recruiter has liked the person’s CV and gave him a call.

Here is some important step to remember.

• After receiving a call, first, hear what the person is trying to say. A simple example “Are you, Mr. XYZ”.
• Your reply will be “Yes Sir”.
• Take a notepad or write the important information that is what is the date of the interview, what is the name of the company etc.
• The thing that you are hearing, write down on the notepad.

Now start your homework.

• Sit in front of a computer or laptop and search company name, that is if the company has any website.
• After going to that website, the next thing is to find what is the company is all about. That is, what type of work is being done by that company?
• The next step is to do watch some of the videos of that particular job. The more you get information about a particular job, your skill will increase automatically.

Step 5: Face the interview and always speak the truth.

The next thing is to face an interview and to tell something about yourself. In an interview, one must always tell the truth. That is to tell them frankly that I know this, but I do not know this.

The main thing is to talk less and listen more. Then, after that, giving a short reply. A very simple example, if after looking at your Biodata if the recruiter asks “What salary do you expect?”.

The reply should be like this. “As I am completely new in the professional world, I have no idea, so whatever you will give I am ready to accept that”.

The reply should not be like this "I want 30,000 salary". Because if you tell this thing, then you are out of a job, any recruiter will not give a salary to a person by just seeing the face.

This is just a simple example. Before going to an interview always do homework.

The main thing is to remain cool and to always speak the truth about yourself.

Step 6: Survive in a Job.

Suppose a person has given a fine interview and one day the recruiter has called him to join the office at a particular date. Now, after getting a job the person is thinking that his life is set. Every month the salary is being credited to the bank account.

In today’s world, every company needs the productivity of a particular worker. The worker has to update with the latest technology.

So the best thing is to study continuously and to develop a particular skill and to increase your knowledge. A person who can complete a particular task within a short time and within the deadline, then the survival chance on the job increases.

Here are some basic steps to follow in a job.

• Never argue with your seniors, if there is a problem, then always reply with a cool head.
  
• While taking a leave always make a plan beforehand.
• Never bunk office without any reason.
  
• Never lie to your boss.
• In a professional world try to remain honest.
• To increase your skill always take the help of the internet and if possible try to watch tutorial videos.
• Your main motive is to increase your salary. If the money increases, then we can become financially stable. So without wasting any time, always do research on the internet and improve your technical skills as well as a communication skill.
• In a professional world, one should always maintain a healthy relationship with co-workers. That is a person who is giving you work, you are just doing his work on time. The relationship should be professional about work only. Because the main motive should always be to go office in time, do the work properly, give an update and leave the office. At the end of the month, the money will be credited to the salary account.
• You should do your job in such a way that there is no room for error. Make your boss always happy.
• Create an impression on your boss with your work, so that the boss will proudly say to you that you are an important asset of the company. Without you, the company cannot survive.
• After coming home, never think about the office. Spend time with your family.
• Always do creative things.
• Never criticize a worker or your boss, just reply with a  smile.

Point 1: The first thing that must know is the basic hardware components of a computer. That is Mouse, keyboard, monitor, Cabinet, Power Supply unit, Hard disc, Motherboard, RAM, processor, UPS. In order to get a clear idea about this subject, you can watch videos on YouTube. There are tons of video about this subject. If you type "computer hardware components" on the search box on YouTube, then you will get a lot of video tutorials.

You must also have an idea about "Operating system", how to install it and what is the function of the software. The examples of an operating system are like "Windows 7 or 8.

Point 2: The next important thing is that you must have a basic knowledge of Motherboard and UPS.

Motherboard: If you purchase any motherboard, then you must know what type of processor does motherboard support. The processor must be matched with the motherboard. At the same time if you increase the RAM of a computer, then your computer will run fast. If you have a computer that has 4gb Ram, but you want to increase it to 8gb, then you also need to know how much capacity does the motherboard have in order to support more RAM. At the same time, it also needs a standard processor.

So motherboard, Ram and processor are interrelated to each other. The main purpose is to increase the speed of the computer so that our machine will run faster.

UPS: If you are buying an assembled computer, then UPS is a must. Suppose you are working in front of a computer and the power goes off, the computer will shut down automatically. So to avoid this type of problem you must buy a UPS. This will provide some sort of backup for your computer.

So this is the third point about learning how a computer is made.

I am not going into the details about this topic as because there are tons of video tutorials on YouTube about this subject. Those videos are enough for a beginner to get a clear idea about how to make a assemble a computer.

Point 4: The next point is you must know what is the budget for assembling a computer. When you have decided that you will purchase an assemble computer, then you must have a budget in your mind. For this, you can go to any shopping site and there you can get a clear idea about the price of different hardware parts of a computer.

Or you can also go to a computer shop and ask the shop owner to give you an exact estimate of how much money will be required for purchasing an assembled computer.

Point 5: The next step is to find a "Professional Hardware Engineer" who can build a basic computer. Now we may have an idea about basic computer hardware and we have the knowledge of assembling, but it is highly recommended that you should find a local hardware engineer who will build a basic computer for you, depending on the requirements of yours.

Point 6: This is the last point. As now you have your own computer and the operating system is installed on a computer, your computer is running well, and now you want to take an internet connection. There is nothing to worry about. Today in this article I am going to discuss these simple steps about how to learn English and have a belief in yourself that you can also master this English language. You can learn it and will be able to speak confidently.

So without wasting any time, let us discuss these simple steps.

Step 1— Purchase a Basic English Grammar Book and start reading it. 

We speak in different languages. Every language has its own charm and flavor. And in any language, there is grammar. If we can know the proper structure and grammar of that particular language, then it will be possible to master it.

To learn anything we must start from zero as if we do not know anything about it. We should consider ourselves as students and we are taking admission to a basic school.

First, we need to purchase a basic grammar book. This can be purchased from any bookstore or shopping site. For example “Wren and Martin” grammar book, Rapidex English course. 

Alphabet: To learn anything we must know what is an alphabet. How does it look? A different language has a different alphabet. There are 26 alphabets in English. They look like this.

 A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.

All are in capital letters. Now if we want to write in small letters it will look like these.

a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z.

So the alphabet looks like these in the English language in the capital and small letter.

Vowel and consonant: a, e, i, o, u is called vowel and rest the are called consonant.

Word: After learning the alphabet now it’s time to convert the alphabet into a word like CAT, RAT, APPLE, MILK, etc. But if we write the word “ATXUYX”, does it make any sense or meaning. So the word is that which has a meaning.

Sentence: After knowing the alphabet and word now we will see how we can convert a word into a sentence. Example: The sun rises in the east. We drink milk in the morning with breakfast. In this way a sentence is formed and which has meaning.

Now there are various sections of grammar in this language. These can be divided into various categories.

• Subject and Predicate 
• A Noun that denotes a name like Rakesh, Suresh, etc. 
• A Pronoun is a word that is used instead of a noun like He, She, They, etc.
• Adjective 
• Verb
• Adverb
• Preposition means like is, under, etc. 
• Conjunction means joining a word. Example “and”, “or”, etc. 
• Interjection means exclamation like “Alas”, Hurrah, etc.
• Articles like “A”, an, The,
• A Number that means Singular and Plural. Example: Dog-Dogs 
• The gender that means Masculine, Feminine, and Common gender. 
• A person that means First Person: I, Second Person: You, Third Person: He, She 
• Tense means Past, Present, and Future.
• Direct and Indirect Speech 
• Active and Passive Voice. We will take a simple example to explain it. It is reversing a sentence. “He did the work”. “The work was done by him”. 
• Punctuation like full stop(.), comma(,) exclamation(!) 

In order to learn English one must know the basic grammar. The best thing will be if we can start reading, grammar books of lower classes and then move to an advanced grammar book.

Step II- The next step is to read a newspaper and start watching a news channel 

Reading Newspaper: 
While reading the newspaper if we find a new word and do not know the meaning of that word, then we can take the help of a dictionary. Various dictionaries are available in the market like “English to Bengali”, or English to Hindi, etc.

Watching News Channel:
The next step is to watch the English News channel. How an anchor is speaking in English? In what style they are speaking. What is the pronunciation? How confident they are speaking? The only goal of watching a news channel is to increase our self-confidence about how can we speak English in our own way by watching them.

Step 3 – Develop a writing habit 

Now, after learning grammar and reading newspapers and watching news channel it’s time to develop a writing habit.

Writing Habit 
Now, what will we write? The thing that is coming to our mind. What we do in a whole day. If we can write that entire thing in a piece of white paper in our local language like Hindi or in any language and convert that into English, then that will be the best thing. After writing, then we can check the grammar.

So by doing in this way, self-confidence will develop and all the fear will go out of our mind.

So these are the three basic steps by which we can learn English. There are also many ways to learn. As we live in a world of smartphones and the internet. Google is our best friend. Whatever question we will ask him, he will display all the results and answer all our questions.

So nothing is impossible in this world. The main thing is to have a belief in ourselves and a strong determination to learn anything.
